Mentoring is great! I have had the privilege of having some formal and informal mentors during my life and felt the benefit. I have also had the privilege of coaching and mentoring others to develop their ideas into reality.
During my MEd program at Athabasca University, I collaborated with some peers to put together the following profile. It features the competencies that a mentor should develop and deploy to enable mentees. What do you think? Perhaps you can use it to find or become the “Ideal Mentor”?
